By using VMware NSX, the company enables granular pro-tection and security for the applications and traffic flowing into the data center via micro-segmentation down to the individual workload. The company also provides perfor-mance optimization solutions wherein they optimize the complete on-premise infrastructure as well as infrastructure hosted on the cloud. Currently, Allot System Integration is working on a large number of projects on VMware HCI platform and VMware WAN optimization using Velocloud Platform. The company is also working on a couple of projects on network security and network virtualization. The compa-ny is investing heavily to equip its resources with various VMware certifications. As a part of geographical expan-sion, the company is planning to reach out to a wider customer base across various geographies. CONSOLIDATION OF GHCL'S DATA CENTERSOne of the clients of Allot System Integration named Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Limited (GHCL), a chemical manufacturer that produces Soda Ash has three data centers spread across three different locations in the country. Allot System Integration consolidated the client's data centers on the VMware Hyper-converged infrastructure platform, helping them easily migrate to the cloud environment. "We virtualized servers, storage and network using VMware NSX - a virtual networking and security platform, enabling them to transition to the cloud platform for complete WAN optimization using SD-WAN. That was a very unique case where we migrated their entire SAP S4 HANA workload to the VMware platform. Since VMware is authorized to run the SAP production database on the virtualized environment, we were able to successfully complete migration of SAPS4 HANA," elaborates Nihar on how they helped to consolidate the three data centres of GHCL.
